I Left a Piece of Myself in Jamaica
We recently traveled to Jamaica and stayed at the Melia Braco Village. I hate to admit this but it was my first time in Jamaica, however, it certainly won’t be my last. What a beautiful resort and pretty secluded as well.
The food was actually amazing and they had several great dining options around the resort. I loved basking in the sun by the ocean, we also went snorkeling and saw some pretty impressive fish. Mid week we decided to get a little adventurous and we took a private catamaran to what felt like the middle of the sea and way beyond my comfort level haha. Once I expressed concern for losing sight of the hotel, our captain turned us around and back to land we went. It was a blast!
This resort offered several adventures I wouldn’t have necessarily tried otherwise. I’m always pretty hesitant to try new things, creature of habit I guess, but once I do I always seem to enjoy them. Like the time I went zip lining in the Dominican Republic, don’t get me started ha! Anyway I will surely head back to Jamaica soon.
